I wanted to do something with glitter and this is what happened. I did purple and not violet nails but oh well. Now this color looks very purple in the bottle and very purple in certain lighting and then very blue in other lighting as you can see in the coming up pictures but I went with it as purple. On top is a lovely goldish bronze glitter from Sinful Colors.

So another foot note here:
I use pure acetone for clean up and when I stamp. I use an acetone/glycerin mix to take polish
off so that it is not so dry on my hands.
Jeff got me a shot glass a long time ago to use for acetone when I do my
nails. Well on this day I had my
acetone/glycerin mix in the shot glass because I was in the process of taking
off my nail color. I knew that I would
be doing some stamping so I asked Jeff to get me the acetone. He got the bottle and told me to grab a
containter, so I grabbed one that was close to me. Now this container was one that I use when I
do watermarbling and it works fine… It is not for acetone. It is not for acetone because it’s
PLASTIC. So not thinking I hand him the
container and he pours acetone in it and… nothing happened. So I went about my merry way until I went to
do clean up on my new mani. I dipped my
brush in the pure acetone and it didn’t feel the same. A big ole glob of goopy plastic come up with
the brush. I went to pour it out and
this is what happened, lol. Needless to
say I had to get a new container and I was so upset my man cleaned up my brush
for me, lol.
